Like me, I know a lot of pet owners love to dress up their pets during the holidays. It's quite entertaining to see those cute little agitated faces adorned in itchy sweaters, reindeer antlers and even the occasional Rudolph nose! However, we must give the following into consideration when we start to dress our pets:
Can my pet see clearly?
Does the item of clothing or accessory impair my dogs ability to walk?
Can my pet stretch freely in the article of clothing or accessory?
For sweaters/shirts/dresses/etc: Does it fit loosely around the neck and allow for comfortable breathing and access to the collar for leash purposes?
If you answered no to any of those, please reconsider the article. It might be funny for a while, but your dog's safety and happiness is what really matters. Try to find a more suitable fitting item for your dog and they might be a happier camper!

Cheap, Fashionable Collars!
I was doing some research for sturdy, fashionable, rightly priced collars since I have been planning out the home bringing of a new puppy for the last couple months. I have been planning on buying a German Shepherd, in hopes of putting a new exercise regime in for myself and my boyfriend. Anyways, I found a website that has very nicely made collars for about $20. They also have leashes to match!
The company is called Up Country Inc.! Be sure to give them a look- they have collars for many different Holidays and in different sizes for your Papillon (like my Lily) and for your Great Dane!
